We're the Eggers family and we live in the Del Ray section of Alexandria, VA. We love our family, friends, pets, neighbors and customers ... we're a woman-run microbusiness and really appreciate your support.
Amy and Mark Eggers founded FLORA Roots & Stems in 2017 for a few reasons ... one, love of design and working with people and two, it was something they could do together as a couple and team.
Since the March 2020 COVID pandemic, FLORA has pivoted to meet the needs of customers and the community with expanded services include mask making, custom textile design and more.
With decades of sewing and costuming experience, Amy is now putting expanded skills to use in order to survive.
FLORA is now a full-range company for living and design needs, whether it's florals, plants, home decor and accessories. Being a maker is so rewarding, why not share all you can?
Amy and Mark have been best friends since 1987 and married for more than 20 years. They have professional and industrial backgrounds as well as project management and production experience in broadcast television and live stage-shows.
